The S.M.A.R.T way to Building Muscle.

It’s crazy how ripped and how huge people can get, and you see them all the time in the gym, they look like the guy in the photo on your wall that you look at before you head to the gym each time. Why don’t you look like him? You take yourself as a diligent person and go to the gym relatively often, so how come you’re not seeing the results you want? Getting strong/building muscle or even losing weight are all self given goals, and just like any goal you set for yourself (Whether its getting a <90% in schol, or learning the guitar) you need to apply time and effort. This diligence is no different when it comes to fitness goals, and their is a wrong way and a S.M.A.R.T way to reach one’s goals in fitness. Specific– It’s not a matter of saying “I want to lose weight” or “Gain muscle”, you need to have a connection with your goal by understanding your goal as much as possible. “Lose 10 lbs of fat”, or “Increase my muscle mass by 5%”. Next, make sure this goal is Measurable – so that you can ensure your goal can be monitored and be able to mentally comprehend your progress. Next make sure it is Attainable as well as Realistic, set yourself up for success  by setting yourself goals that are achievable and working your way up from there. Finally Time-Oriented  goals ensure that you are putting in and utilising your time effectively towards meeting your goal, nobody ever got from point A to B without actually putting in the time to get there.
